The idea for
Quilby was born from my own work as an educator.
As a private tutor for many years with thousands of hours of teaching experience, I was underwhelmed by the quality of many of the educational resources available.
Too often, the subject matter felt staid and uninspiring. Unsurprisingly, my students felt the same!
I was struck with a thrilling prospect: what if I created reading materials that my students would be excited to read and think about!
I therefore began creating exercises, customising the content to achieve maximum engagement. It worked. Students began to ask questions without prompting, eager to learn more.
